Thermo Electric Cooling (TEC's)

Using the Peltier Effect these devices are capable of cooling various items, especially electronic components that generate heat and need to be cooled.

These are great for different Hobby Projects such as Building a Small Desktop Fridge, Cooler Box etc.

They also work great in Science Projects such as Dehumidifiers, or Thermo Electric Generators.

PLEASE NOTE: These device generate immense amounts of heat and they need to be sufficiently cooled

on the hot side using a decent heatsink in conjunction with a cooling Fan. NB. It is also advised to use

Thermal Compound between the TEC and the heatsink for better heat transfer.

Using this device without a sufficient heatsink will result in it burning out in less than 2 Seconds.
