This Adapter is soldered directly onto the back of your HD44780 Driver lcd character display, effectively reducing the tedious 8bit interface where a minimum of 6 - 10 wires need to be used for communication, to an I2C interface which only requires 2 wires. Allows seamless serial display functionality without the cumbersome hassle.
